There are a lot of dolls on the market because little girls love to play with them, and this is something that
has remained unchanged for a very long time. What has changed, however, are the dolls and the way some of them are perceived. Barbie, for
example, has been popular for a long time, but some parents have problems with her dimensions, complaining that they are too
unrealistic. Another example, Brat Dolls have also become popular, but many parents, myself included, refuse to allow their children to play with

One of the best things about American Girl Dolls is that they do represent girls from America. Each girl is as
different as the next, and the dolls seem to celebrate the diversity that makes the US a great place to live. The dolls all have different
distinctions, and there is something for everyone. Some have glasses, they all have different hair, and they all have different interests and
personalities. That to me is the best part, as it teaches our children that differences are good, even if they don’t always understand
why in the beginning. Children can have a hard time relating with those who are different from them if they don’t know such people exist.
This is one great way to show them that they do, and that they are just as special as the next.
